Common use of Criminal Sanctions Clause in Contracts

Criminal Sanctions. Nothing in this Agreement limits the right of the U.S. Government to pursue criminal sanctions against the Company, any Affiliate, or any director, officer, employee, representative, or agent of any of these companies, for violations of the criminal laws of the United States in connection with their performance of any of the obligations imposed by this Agreement, including but not limited to, any violations of 18 U.S.C. § 287 or 18 U.S.C. § 1001.
