Criteria and Procedures for Granting Tenure. The following rules on tenure are established (a) to ensure the quality of instruction for students, (b) to protect faculty employment rights and faculty involvement in the establishment and protection of these rights in the Mt. Hood Community College District, and (c) to define a reasonable and orderly process for the appointment of faculty to tenure status or for non-renewal.
