CULVERT SHAPE CONTROL. Purchaser shall monitor the culvert shape during backfill and compaction. Special attention must be paid to maintaining the structure’s rise dimensions, concentricity, and smooth uniform curvature. If compaction methods are resulting in peaking or deflection of the culvert, Purchaser shall modify the compaction method to achieve the appropriate end result.
