Cumulative Powers and Avoidance of Payments. 7.1 The powers which this guarantee confers on the Operator are cumulative, without prejudice to its powers under the general law, and may be exercised as often as the Operator thinks appropriate. 7.2 Any settlement or discharge between the Operator and the Mine Owner and/or the Guarantors shall be conditional upon no security or payment to the Operator by the Mine Owner or the Guarantors or any other person being avoided or set aside or ordered to be refunded or reduced by virtue of any provision or enactment relating to insolvency and accordingly (but without limiting the Operator's other rights under this guarantee) the Operator shall be entitled to recover from the Guarantors the value which the Operator has placed upon such security or the amount of any such payment as if such settlement or discharge had not occurred.
