Currency and Manner of Payment in Respect of Securities. (a) Unless otherwise specified with respect to any Securities pursuant to Section 3.01, with respect to Registered Securities of any series not permitting the election provided for in paragraph (b) below or the Holders of which have not made the election provided for in paragraph (b) below, and with respect to Bearer Securities of any series, except as provided in paragraph (d) below, payment of the principal of, premium, if any, and interest, if any, on any Registered or Bearer Security of such series will be made in the currency or currencies or currency unit or units in which such Registered Security or Bearer Security, as the case may be, is payable. The provisions of this Section 3.12 may be modified or superseded pursuant to Section 3.01 with respect to any Securities.
