Currency and Manner of Payments in Respect of Securities. (a) With respect to Registered Securities of any series not permitting the election provided for in paragraph (b) below or the Holders of which have not made the election provided for in paragraph (b) below, and with respect to Bearer Securities of any series, except as provided in paragraph (d) below, payment of the principal of (and premium, if any) and interest, if any, on any Registered or Bearer Security of such series will be made in the Currency in which such Registered Security or Bearer Security, as the case may be, is denominated or stated to be payable. The provisions of this Section 312 may be modified or superseded with respect to any Securities pursuant to Section 301.
