Common use of Currency Blockage Clause in Contracts

Currency Blockage. If the laws or regulations of another country ----------------- prevent the conversion of its currency into United States dollars for the payment of Royalties, the licensee or its Commercialization Partners or Sublicensees will either (a) pay such Royalties by depositing the currency of the other country into a bank account designated by the licensor in that country or (b) if permitted by law, pay such Royalties in the currency of the country in question to the licensor's designee in that country.
