Currency Calculations Clause Samples
The Currency Calculations clause defines how monetary amounts are to be calculated, converted, or expressed when different currencies are involved in a contract. It typically specifies the applicable exchange rate, the date on which the rate is determined, and the source of the rate, such as a particular financial publication or institution. This clause ensures consistency and clarity in financial transactions by preventing disputes over currency conversions and providing a clear method for handling payments or obligations in multiple currencies.
