Common use of Currency of Payment Clause in Contracts

Currency of Payment. Unless otherwise agreed by the Parties, University will make payment to Supplier in U.S. Dollars by check, wire transfer, or other agreed means. Supplier represents that it is able to receive the U.S. Dollar payments from University legally, without violating any applicable law, including foreign exchange control and taxation law and regulations in the location where Supplier receives payment. If payment to Supplier will be converted into local currency, University will be responsible only to send the payment amount in U.S. Dollars, and shall have no responsibility whatsoever to compensate Supplier for any fees or taxes arising from any foreign exchange transaction or for any exchange rate differences, including differences arising from the time of contracting or invoicing until the time of payment.
