Common use of Custodian Clause in Contracts

Custodian. The assets of the Fund shall be held by an independent custodian, not the Adviser or Sub-Adviser. The Sub-Adviser is authorized to give instructions to the custodian with respect to all investment decisions regarding the Fund and the custodian is authorized and directed to effect transactions for the Fund and otherwise take such actions as the Sub-Adviser shall reasonably direct in connection with the performance of the Sub-Adviser’s obligations in respect of the Fund.
