Common use of Damages from Certain Causes Clause in Contracts

Damages from Certain Causes. Landlord shall not be liable or responsible to Tenant for any loss or damage to any property or person occasioned by theft, fire, casualty, vandalism, acts of God, public enemy, injunction, riot, strike, inability to procure materials, insurrection, war, court order, requisition or order of governmental body or authority, or for any other causes beyond Landlord's reasonable control, or for any damage or inconvenience which may arise through repair or alteration of the Leased Premises, the Project, or the Complex. All goods, property or personal effects stored or placed by Tenant in or about the Complex shall be at the sole risk of Tenant.

Landlord shall not be liable or responsible to Tenant for any loss or damage to any property or person occasioned by theft, fire, casualty, vandalism, acts act of God, public enemy, injunction, riot, strike, inability to procure materials, insurrection, war, court order, requisition or order of governmental body or authority, court order or for injunction, or any other causes cause beyond Landlord's reasonable controlcontrol or, except in the case of the gross negligence or intentional misconduct of Landlord, for any damage or inconvenience which may arise through repair or alteration of the Leased Premises, any part of the Project, or the Complex. All goods, property or personal effects stored or placed by Tenant in or about the Complex Project or Leased Premises shall be at the sole risk of the Tenant.

All goods, property or personal effects stored or placed by Tenant in or about the Complex Project shall be at the sole risk of Tenant.
