Common use of Danger Signals and Safety Devices Clause in Contracts

Danger Signals and Safety Devices. Contractor shall make all necessary precautions to guard against damages to property and injury to persons. Contractor shall put up and maintain in good condition, sufficient red or warning lights at night, suitable barricades and other devices necessary to protect the public. In case Contractor fails or neglects to take such precautions, NCORR may have such lights and barricades installed and charge the cost of this work to Contractor. Such action by NCORR does not relieve Contractor of any liability incurred under these specifications or contract.
