Dangerous Materials. You (or anyone living with you, or visiting your home) must not keep or use bottled gas, paraffin, petrol or any other dangerous material in your home or in communal areas. Many of our properties have asbestos content. Asbestos is not dangerous if left alone. You must take care not to damage any asbestos by sawing, cutting, drilling or sanding. There are certain types of decorating materials which are not safe because they can be a fire or health hazard. These are: polystyrene tiles, internal wall cladding and Artex finish. Therefore, polystyrene tiles and internal wall cladding must not be used in future and Artex finish is to be used on ceilings only.
