Data Center Region Clause Samples

The Data Center Region clause defines the specific geographic location or region where a service provider will store and process a customer's data. In practice, this clause typically specifies that all data related to the service will reside within certain countries or regions, such as the European Union or the United States, to comply with legal, regulatory, or business requirements. By clearly designating the data center region, this clause helps ensure compliance with data sovereignty laws and provides customers with assurance about where their data is handled, thereby addressing concerns about privacy, security, and regulatory obligations.
