Data Communication System Clause Samples

The Data Communication System clause defines the requirements and standards for the electronic exchange of information between parties. It typically outlines the types of systems or platforms to be used, security protocols, and responsibilities for maintaining data integrity during transmission. Data Communication System. The County shall acquire and configure the Data Communication Equipment and select Data Communication Services for the Library to create the Library’s data communication system. The City is responsible for the actual cost of obtaining and maintaining the Data Communication Equipment. To ensure the City is able to properly budget for the cost of the Data Communication Equipment, prior to placing an order for Data Communication Equipment, (i) the County will provide a written estimate of the cost of the Data Communication Equipment to the City, and (ii) must receive the City’s written consent to the acquisition. At the parties’ discretion, such writings may be in the form of emails. The City acknowledges that it is responsible for the actual cost of the Data Communication Equipment, even if it varies from the estimate through no fault of the County’s.
