Data Privacy Standards. BEACONING core services component implements data privacy settings. While the privacy policy applied to all categories of users and user data is encrypted at rest and in flight, for students additional protections are implemented to depersonalize the student data. However, when students would view their own analytics reports they will be able to observe their names and status on the page by means of BEACONING Data Privacy Flow. Figure 6 shows the workflow for obtaining and managing the real identities of the students involved in BEACONING piloting securely. Personal Data Store component that implements the Data Management Plans defined in D1.7 and D1.8, is responsible for the privacy protections of student data and sensitive data management during small- and large-scale piloting.
Data Privacy Standards. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in this Agreement or the Data Privacy Standards, the Data Privacy Standards will apply only to the extent Sonder Processes Marriott Guest Personal Data and only with respect to Sonder’s Processing of such Marriott Guest Personal Data. For the avoidance of doubt: (i) the Data Privacy Standards will not apply to any Personal Information Processed by or on behalf of the Sonder Parties in any other context unless explicitly agreed to in writing by the Sonder Parties. In the event of a conflict between this Agreement and the Data Privacy Standards, this Agreement will control to the extent of such conflict. As used in the Data Privacy Standards: (i) “Personal Data” and “Customer Personal Data” will include only Marriott Guest Personal Data, (ii) “Guest Preferences” will include only Marriott Guest Preferences, and (iii) “Data Protection Laws” will include only Privacy Laws.
