Common use of Date of Determination Clause in Contracts

Date of Determination. The date of determination for voluntary cancellation is based on the postmark date of the cancellation letter or the receipt date if hand-delivered, emailed, or conveyed verbally. Refunds for voluntary cancellation will be processed within thirty (30) calendar days from the date of receipt of the student's cancellation notice. An unexplained absence of more than 15 school days is considered constructive notice of cancellation to the school.
