Common use of Deadline for Objections Clause in Contracts

Deadline for Objections. Objections may be submitted to the Settlement Administrator or the Court by postal mail and postmarked by the Response Deadline. The date of the postmark on the envelope containing the written statement objecting to the Settlement Agreement shall be the exclusive means used to determine whether an objection has been timely submitted. In the event a postmark is illegible, the date of mailing shall be deemed to be three (3) calendar days prior to the date that the Settlement Administrator or Court received a copy of the objection.
