Common use of DEATH BY ACCIDENT Clause in Contracts

DEATH BY ACCIDENT. If the insured or an employee of the insured, or any member of the immediate family (e.g. father, mother, brother) of the insured or the insured’s employee, dies as a direct result of an accident causing loss to an insured vehicle, whether or not death occurs at the time of the accident, we will pay to the insured the amount shown in the Limits and Excesses section, regardless of any other insurance.
