Common use of Debt to the State Clause in Contracts

Debt to the State. If the State Comptroller of Public Accounts is prohibited from issuing a warrant or initiating an electronic funds transfer to the Acquisition Provider because of a debt owed to the State, the State shall apply all payment due the Acquisition Provider to the debt or delinquent tax until the debt or delinquent tax is paid in full.
