Common use of Debtor-Creditor Relationship Clause in Contracts

Debtor-Creditor Relationship. It is expressly understood and agreed that the relationship between the Issuer and the Borrower established by the transaction contemplated by this Agreement and by all of the other Loan Documents is exclusively that of creditor or lender, on the part of the Issuer, and debtor or borrower, on the part of the Borrower, and is in no way to be construed as a partnership or joint venture of any kind. It is further understood that all payments by the Borrower under the Loan Documents shall be exclusively on account of the said debtor/creditor relationship.β€Œ
