Deduct Damages from Monies Owed Contractor. Owner shall be entitled to deduct and retain liquidated damages out of any money which may be due or become due the Contractor. To the extent that the liquidated damages exceed any amounts that would otherwise be due the Contractor, the Contractor shall be liable for such amounts and shall return such excess to the Owner.
