Definition and Terms. 3.1 The articles of this Collective Agreement will apply to both the Custodial and Building Services work units unless specifically indicated otherwise. Specifically, the subheadings “Custodial Unit” or “Building Services Unit” preceding an article, or the reference to “Custodial Employees” or “Building Services Employees” within an article, shall denote a provision applying either to the Custodial work unit or to the Building Services work unit.

The Mockingbird Family Model is an extended family model with the purpose of improving stability of fostering placements and strengthen the relationships between the carers, children, and young people, fostering service and birth families. Key roles include the hub carers, satellite carers and liaison officer. Please see the Operations Protocol for full descriptions. The hub home carers wanting to raise any complaints in the first instance should raise this with their Supervising Social Worker or Team leader. Should the complaint not be resolved written representation should be made to Dorset Council Complaints manager.
