Common use of Definitions Rules of Interpretation Clause in Contracts

Definitions Rules of Interpretation. Unless otherwise defined herein, all terms used in this Consent shall have the meanings given in Exhibit A to the Master Operating Agreement. Except as otherwise expressly provided herein, the rules of interpretation set forth in said Exhibit A shall apply to this Consent. The parties hereto acknowledge that the Collateral Agent, acting on behalf of the Secured Parties, is a "Lender" within the meaning of the Master Operating Agreement, and that, without the consent of the parties hereto, no other Person (other than a secured Lender who executes a counterpart of, or acknowledges to be bound by, this Consent) shall be deemed a Lender under the Contracts. Any such Lenders shall coordinate so as not to give any conflicting instructions or demands to the Consenting Party.
