Common use of Delegation of Duties by Authority Clause in Contracts

Delegation of Duties by Authority. It is agreed that under the terms of this Contract and also under the terms of the Resolution, the Authority has delegated certain responsibilities to the City. The fact of such delegation shall be deemed a sufficient compliance by the Authority to satisfy the responsibilities so delegated and the Authority shall not be liable in any way by reason of acts done or omitted by the City or the City Representative. The Authority shall have the right at all times to act in reliance upon the authorization, representation or certification of the City Representative.
