Delegation to Operator Clause Samples
The 'Delegation to Operator' clause authorizes one party to assign certain responsibilities or tasks to an operator, who acts on their behalf. In practice, this means the operator may be empowered to manage day-to-day operations, make decisions, or perform specific duties outlined in the agreement, such as overseeing maintenance or handling administrative functions. This clause ensures that operational tasks can be efficiently managed by a designated party, thereby streamlining processes and clarifying who is responsible for execution.
Delegation to Operator. The Managing General Partner is specifically authorized to delegate any or all of its duties to the Operator by executing the Drilling and Operating Agreement. This delegation shall not relieve the Managing General Partner of its responsibilities under this Agreement. In no event shall any consideration received for operator services be in excess of competitive rates or duplicative of any consideration or reimbursements received under this Agreement. The Managing General Partner may not benefit by interpositioning itself between the Partnership and the actual provider of operator services.
