Common use of Delivery of Notices and Documents Clause in Contracts

Delivery of Notices and Documents. the policies to stipulate that any notice or document to be served in relation to any policy may be delivered or sent by prepaid recorded delivery post (if within the Federal Republic of Germany), by prepaid airmail (if elsewhere) or facsimile process to the party to be served at its registered office or at such other address as it may have notified to the other parties in writing in accordance with this Clause. Any such notice will be deemed to be given as follows: (a) if delivered by hand or by mail, when delivered; and (b) if by facsimile when transmitted, but only if, immediately after the transmission, the sender’s fax machine records the correct answerback;
