Common use of Demilitarization Report Clause in Contracts

Demilitarization Report. Upon completion of the required demilitarization, if any, the resultant material shall be retained by the Buyer as Ordnance scrap. The Buyer agrees to furnish the Contracting Officer a certificate, in form satisfactory to the Contracting Officer, indicating that the Ordnance Equipment covered by this ARTICLE and Exhibit 2 has in fact been demilitarized by the Buyer in accordance with the terms hereof. The Government reserves the right, however, to perform additional mutilation of the demilitarized items, as deemed necessary, by its own personnel, or otherwise, at no cost to the Buyer.
