Common use of Design-Builder’s Payment Obligations Clause in Contracts

Design-Builder’s Payment Obligations. Design-Builder will pay Design Consultants and Subcontractors, in accordance with its contractual obligations to such parties, all the amounts Design-Builder has received from Owner on account of their work. Design-Builder will impose similar requirements on Design Consultants and Subcontractors to pay those parties with whom they have contracted. Design-Builder will indemnify and defend Owner against any claims for payment and mechanic’s liens as set forth in Section 14.2 hereof.
