Designation of Trust and Certificates. (a) The Trust created hereby shall be known as the "PPLUS Trust Series VAL-1". The Class A Certificates and Class B Certificates evidencing certain undivided ownership interests therein shall be known as the "PPLUS Class A 7.25% Trust Certificates Series VAL-1" and the "PPLUS Class B 0.25% Trust Certificates Series VAL-1," respectively.
