Common use of Destruction of Confidential Information Clause in Contracts

Destruction of Confidential Information. Upon the termination of this Agreement, or at any time at the disclosing Party's request, the recipient Party shall destroy Confidential Information of the disclosing Party in its possession or control except to the extent it would be unreasonably burdensome to destroy such information (such as archived computer records), and such information will continue to be treated as Confidential Information, notwithstanding any termination or expiration of this Agreement. Upon the request of the disclosing Party, the recipient Party shall certify in writing that all materials containing Confidential Information of the disclosing Party have been destroyed and no further Confidential Information of the disclosing Party is in the possession or control of the recipient Party.
