Determination of Breach Resolution. Once complete information about the Breach becomes available, the Data Governing Board shall meet to determine whether the actions taken by the Party(ies) involved in the actual or potential Breach are sufficient to mitigate the actual or potential Breach and prevent a similar Breach from occurring in the future. Once the Data Governing Board is satisfied that the Party(ies) has taken all appropriate measures, the Data Governing Board shall deem the actual or potential Breach resolved and will so advise the Executive Board of such recommendation. 1) This resolution will be communicated to all Party(ies) (by communicating with the appropriate DSG representative) involved in the actual or potential Breach and those Party(ies) that ceased Data Sharing with the Participating Agencies involved in the Breach. 2) Lessons learned on the root cause of the actual or potential Breach will be communicated to all Party(ies), including those not involved in the actual or potential Breach, to prevent a recurrence of the event in the future.
