Determination to Bring Charges. If the xxxx is informed of any information regarding grounds for cause or any request that charges be brought, the xxxx or the xxxx'x designee(s) shall conduct an investigation and determine the action to be taken. If the xxxx determines that termination for cause proceedings should be initiated, he/she shall prepare a formal statement of charges which shall be served on the employee.
