Common use of Determination to Discipline Clause in Contracts

Determination to Discipline. If the xxxx determines that disciplinary action for cause should occur, the xxxx shall prepare a formal statement of the charges which shall be served on the employee. The employee will be accorded an opportunity to rebut the charges. Both a copy of the charges and of the rebuttal shall be placed in the employee’s personnel file and may be used according to the guidelines in section 18.100.
