Common use of DEVELOPER INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY Clause in Contracts

DEVELOPER INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY. As between the parties, subject to all underlying rights of BlackBerry and its licensors in the Software and any embedded third-party Intellectual Property Rights, including Runtime Subsystems and its derivatives, and subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement, all other rights, title and interests in and to any other software independently developed by Developer (or any Academic User) pursuant to the licenses granted in this Agreement (e.g. Non-Commercial Applications and/or Non-Commercial Target System(s)) will be owned and retained by Developer (or the Academic User, as relevant).
