Development Programs. SECTION 1 Information systems professional support personnel who are required to have state licensure to hold a position are required to provide such at their own expense. Any course specifically required by the Employer will be paid by the Employer. 1. When an employee requests time off to pursue formal training for certification purposes which occurs during the regular school day but which is only part time; that is, which allows him/her to be present in the normal place of assignment for most of the school day and to conduct essential school business, the request shall be submitted to the Superintendent or designee for action and to work out arrangements.
