Digital Citizenship. ▇▇▇▇▇-▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Community School Corporation aims to educate holistically, developing students to become lifelong learners and productive members of society. In a growing digital society, CPCSC strives to prepare every student to be a positive digital contributor and a responsible digital citizen, focusing on Internet safety, privacy and security, creative credit and copyright, cyberbullying, and online reputation.
Digital Citizenship. A focus of this initiative is digital citizenship, which is the responsible use of technology. Students will continue to learn digital skills, ethics, etiquette, and online safety. These are important aspects of participating in today’s world.

Digital Citizenship. Digital citizenship is about knowing how the Internet works, accessing and navigating digital media, and exercising responsible behavior that keeps you safe and keeps your on- line identity secure. Each MCMS student (and parent/guardian) accepts and signs an OPUSD Acceptable Use Agreement (AUA) for regulating electronic devices and technology pertaining to school. The current version of the Student Technology AUP was adopted by the OPUSD Governing Board on March 20, 2018. Refer to pages 20-23 for AUA. classroom can help to create transformative learning environments. With it, we are able to further our vision as a learning community, and create an environment “where the world opens up”. As this is a new digital world for many, we want to help students with some guidelines that will help promote communication in a safe manner for students, staff and the community.
Digital Citizenship. School-issued Chromebooks should be used for educational purposes and students are to adhere to the AUP and all of its corresponding administrative procedures at all times. While working in a digital and collaborative environment, students should always conduct themselves as good digital citizens by adhering to the following:
Digital Citizenship. The District’s overall code of conduct applies to the use of digital tools for all purposes. When online, users should work towards creating a positive online presence, and they are expected to abide by the generally accepted rules of network etiquette. These rules include but are not limited to the following:  Users will be polite.  Users will use appropriate language. Verbal or written language that is considered inappropriate in the classroom is also inappropriate in all uses of technology.  Users will comply with District Policy 4675 and Administrative Regulation 4675-R, Copyright.  Student users will not reveal personal addresses, phone numbers, or any other personal information, for themselves or others.  Staff users will not reveal personal addresses, phone numbers, or any other personal information, for students, or colleagues.  Users will not give their username or password to any other person, or use the username or password of someone else to access any part of the system.
