Direct Earnings Attachment. 17.15.1 Where no payment plan has been agreed and the debtor’s employer is known, EK Services will apply for a Direct Earnings Attachment. A final reminder will be issued to the debtor requesting payment in full within 7 days and if no payment is received or payment plan agreed, EK Services will make an application directly to the employer for the debt to be recovered by deduction from the debtors wages. 17.15.2 Once the Order is served on the employer, deductions must be made as required by regulations.
