Common use of Direct End Office Trunking Clause in Contracts

Direct End Office Trunking. 4.1 Direct End Office trunks terminate traffic from a TCAL switch to a TDS TELECOM End Office and are not switched at a Tandem location. The Parties shall establish a direct End Office trunk group when End Office traffic requires twenty-four (24) or more trunks. Overflow from either end of the direct End Office trunk group will be alternate routed to the appropriate Tandem.
