Direction to rectify. At any time up to 10 Business Days after the expiry of a defects liability period, the Principal’s Representative may direct the Contractor to rectify an omission or defect in the relevant Works. The Contractor must comply with any direction within the time stated in the direction, or if no time is stated, within a reasonable time. The Contractor acknowledges that during the defects liability period the Works will be in use as part of the Principal's operations and that there may be limited access to the Site for the purpose of carrying out any rectification pursuant to this clause.
