Common use of Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise Participation Clause in Contracts

Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise Participation. Pursuant to section 17076.11 of the Education Code, District has a participation goal for disabled veteran business enterprises (“DVBE”) of at least three percent (3%), per year, of funds expended each year by District on projects that use funds allocated by the State Allocation Board pursuant to the Xxxxx X. Xxxxxx School Facilities Act (the “Act”). This Project may use funds allocated under the Act. Therefore, PM, before it executes the Agreement, shall provide to District certification of compliance with the procedures for implementation of DVBE contracting goals, appropriate documentation identifying the amount(s) intended to be paid to DVBEs in conjunction with the contract, and/or documentation demonstrating PM’s good faith efforts to meet these goals.
