Discharge by Facility Clause Samples

The "Discharge by Facility" clause defines the conditions under which a facility, such as a hospital or care center, may formally release a patient from its care. Typically, this clause outlines the criteria for discharge, such as medical stability, completion of treatment, or transfer to another facility, and may specify the responsibilities of both the facility and the patient upon discharge. Its core practical function is to establish clear guidelines for ending the facility's duty of care, thereby reducing ambiguity and potential disputes regarding the timing and circumstances of a patient's release.
