Disclaimer for Force Majeure, etc. The Bank shall not be responsible for any damage (whether direct or consequential, including loss of profit or interest, or otherwise) arising from the Bank’s inability to transfer funds or the delay in the transfer, etc., due to any of the following items: (i) Unavoidable circumstances such as natural disasters, incidents, accidents during transport, actions by courts or other governmental authorities; (ii) Failures or malfunctions in terminal units, communication circuits or computers, etc., despite the Bank or other the financial institution having taken appropriate security measures; or (iii) Causes attributable to any financial institution other than the Bank or the Related Banks.
