Common use of Disclosures to Workforce Clause in Contracts

Disclosures to Workforce. Business Associate shall not disclose PHI to any member of its workforce unless necessary to fulfill a purpose described in Section 4.1 and unless Business Associate has advised such person of Business Associate's obligations under this Agreement and of the consequences for such person and for the Business Associate of violating this Agreement. Business Associate shall take appropriate disciplinary action against any member of its workforce who uses or discloses PHI in contravention of this Agreement or the Privacy Rule or the Security Rule.
