Common use of DISCONTINUANCE OF CONTRIBUTIONS UNDER THIS CONTRACT Clause in Contracts

DISCONTINUANCE OF CONTRIBUTIONS UNDER THIS CONTRACT. Contributions under this contract will be discontinued with respect to all Participants: (a) at any time after receipt by Prudential of notice thereof from the Contract-Holder, (b) when the Plan terminates, (c) as of the effective date of any Plan change to which Prudential is unable or unwilling to give effect under this contract (see section 7.6), or (d) as of a date at least 90 days after notice to the Contract-Holder by Prudential that no further contributions will be accepted hereunder. After discontinuance the contract will continue to operate in accordance with its terms with respect to Participants' Accounts. (This includes the initiation of transfer payments as described in section 3.4(c)).
