DISCRETIONARY SEVERANCE BENEFITS. In the event of Executive’s termination of employment for any reason other than for Cause, the Board of Directors (including any committee thereof) shall use its best efforts to meet as promptly as practicable within 30 days following any such termination, and shall determine in its sole discretion whether to award Executive any additional severance benefits not otherwise provided under this Section 8 (“Additional Severance”). For example, such Additional Severance benefit may consist of a pro-rata portion of the Executive’s annual bonus for the performance year in which the Executive’s termination occurs, with such pro-rata portion calculated based upon the number of days that Executive was employed during such performance year divided by the total number of days in such performance year.
