Common use of Dishonored Payment Clause in Contracts

Fees will be assessed for any dishonored checks, and Licensees are liable for balance due plus fees under Civil Code, Section 1719 for triple the amount of the check (a minimum of $100.00 and a maximum of $500.00) if funds necessary to cover the check are not received within 10 days following a written notice.
