Dispatch Operations. 17 a. CONTRACTOR shall establish a dispatch system, which shall be approved by 18 OCEMS; to provide backup dispatch services as may be necessary, for disaster incidents or other 19 circumstances that impair the operation of the primary 9-1-1 dispatch center.
20 b. CONTRACTOR shall ensure 24/7 operation of the EMS dispatch system utilizing 21 qualified personnel and supervision.
Dispatch Operations. The EO Generation Dispatcher shall issue dispatch orders on behalf of ComEd, which orders shall be given by the EO Generation Dispatcher to Seller. Following receipt by Seller of any such order, Seller shall repeat back the content of such order to the EO Generation Dispatcher to confirm receipt and understanding of such order.
(a) Seller shall perform the following tasks in order to assist in meeting the dispatch needs of the ComEd System:
(i) maintain generating control systems and subsystems enabling the Reserved Units to synchronize and ramp to the generation levels as ordered by the EO Generation Dispatcher in the time durations and at the rates as set forth in Appendix A; Peaking Units Power Purchase Agreement Appendices --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
(ii) to the extent that the remote control capability identified in Section 3(a)(v) is unavailable, Seller shall arrange to man each such affected site, as requested by the EO Generation Dispatcher, with operating personnel to operate the site;
(iii) operate the Reserved Units at generation levels as requested by the EO Generation Dispatcher, and Seller shall promptly notify the EO Generation Dispatcher if the Reserved Units are unable for any reason to achieve such generation levels; and
Dispatch Operations. The contractor shall provide a complete vehicle control operation that includes scheduling and issuing GSFC-Greenbelt vehicles, scheduling and performing pickup and delivery services, performing shuttle bus operations, coordinating office/lab moves, operating a taxi service, ordering and dispensing fuel, and operating the transportation automated systems. The contractor shall provide dispatch services between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. All services shall be performed at Greenbelt only, unless otherwise noted. The contractor shall ensure all transportation automated systems are fully operational. Transportation automated systems currently include, but are not limited to: the Gasboy Fleetkey System, the Dispatch/Automated Fleet Information System (DAFIS), and ExtraFleet 2000. The contractor shall provide after-hours support to various transportation functions including, but not limited to: shuttle bus services for tours, symposia, and conferences; pickup and delivery of materials and equipment; transporting personnel to and from local airports; and office moves.
Dispatch Operations. There shall be two (2) civilian dispatchers on duty at all times.
Dispatch Operations. 1. Contractor shall provide emergency medical dispatch and 9-1-1 PSAP services necessary to receive and respond to requests for emergency and advanced life support ambulance services, as described in Contractor’s proposal.
2. The Contractor shall provide a system for EMS dispatch meeting the International Academies of Emergency Dispatch Emergency Medical Dispatch standards and EMS Agency policies.
a. Be approved by the State of California as a public safety answering point;
b. Receive and process calls for emergency medical assistance from primary and/or secondary public safety answering points and from seven-digit telephone lines;
c. Prioritize the urgency of the response;
d. Dispatch appropriate EMS resources;
e. Give post-dispatch and pre-arrival instructions to callers;
f. Relay pertinent information to responding personnel;
g. Monitor and track responding resources;
h. Coordinate with public safety and EMS providers as needed;
i. Provide required data; and
j. Have a mechanism to alert dispatch personnel and responding ambulance personnel whenever an ambulance responding to an emergency call is stationary for more than thirty seconds.
3. The Contractor’s shall utilize a computer assisted dispatch (CAD) system that has the capability of:
a. Assigning response resources based on the IAED assessment and EMS Agency Policy No. 3202 within identifiable jurisdictions (i.e., cities and fire districts);
b. Providing a “snapshot” of the location and status of ambulances using GPS tracking for a selected time of day;
c. Determining time intervals for different system status levels;
d. Determining the estimated response time from any post or location to any emergency call location;
e. Estimating response time to each response and recommend potential additional resources based on that time, in accordance with EMS Agency policy.
f. Scheduling ALS and CCT transfers from and to hospitals.
4. Contactor shall ensure that the CAD uses an up-to-date geographical database for addresses, streets, roads, and other geographical landmarks. Contactor shall have a process to update the CAD geographical database on a monthly basis with new or modified geographic data from the San ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ County Community Development Department Geographic Information Systems (GSI) Division and city planning departments.
5. The CAD software utilized by Contractor shall include security features preventing unauthorized access and full audit trail documentation.
