Common use of Disputes and interpretation Clause in Contracts

Disputes and interpretation. 1. All issues arising in connection with the application of this Agreement shall be examined jointly by the competent authorities of the Republic of Serbia and by representatives of the Agency. 2. Failing any prior settlement, disputes concerning the interpretation or application of this Agreement shall be settled exclusively by negotiation between the competent authorities of the Republic of Serbia and the European Commission. 3. For the purposes of paragraphs 1 and 2, the Agency and the European Commission shall be in constant contact with the Member State(s) bordering the operational area.
