Common use of Disruptive Student Clause in Contracts

Disruptive Student. So that student classroom behavior may be more effectively managed by a teacher, so as to develop the best possible learning situation, disruptive students may be formally identified by a teacher. A. Prior to such formal identification the teacher must have: 1) Referred the student in writing to and discussed him/her with the appropriate administrator on at least two (2) different occasions regarding separate incidents. 2) Conferred with the student, his/her parent(s), and where applicable, his/her counselor on at least one occasion regarding the student’s disruptive behavior. B. Upon a teacher’s written identification of a disruptive student in his/her classroom, the student will be immediately referred and/or sent to the principal for disposition of the matter.
